So the news for days has been warning of a HUGE snow storm coming this weekend. I have been in total denial about it! Things all throughout this weekend are being canceled…so I guess not many other people are in denial.
Guess I better snap out of the denial because the boys are expecting a BIG Super Bowl party…better get the food tomorrow–just in case!
I am Aimee. A thirty-something, vegetarian, Christian, homeschooling mother of two “tweens” who I call Silly Girl & Moon Boy. I work full-time (with my husband) as a Houseparent for 13 teen boys–definitely not many dull moments. Oh, and I am also a PhD student who is ABD (all but dissertation) and constantly struggling to keep on writing it. Don’t think denial is an option now, better shop early. It’s so dreary here need light on and I hate that. Trees are icing a little, hate that too as worry the power lines will go down on ridge. We are inline for 6-10 inches….
There’s a Superbowl party at school, sponsored by some area churches. Roads should be clear enough but just not sure how many will attend as they didn’t send notes home about it. Think the families that are active in PTA will come. I may go with Carol for a little while, supposed to have lot of gift card give-aways:)!
Suppose I need to shower than get something done. I’m working on rag snowman throw for Kira(xmas gift). Need to cut some more squares as I do laundry.

O yeah; you BETTER get lots of food! Your situation is one of the few that calls for a major grocery shopping trip; the run on the store by the rest of us is unnecessary!
